Open Gym
Open Gym provides a safe environment for working on the gymnastics skills of your choice. Gymnastics apparatus are supervised by Viking staff members. All ability levels are welcome.
Open Gym details:
- For ages 4 to 18 years old
- All participants must be able to be independent in the gym; parents/guardians may view from the parent waiting area
- $20 for first child, $15 per sibling
- Admission to open gym is on a first-come, first-served basis; there is no advanced registration
- All participants must have an updated consent form on file
- An annual membership fee is not required to attend
- The dress code is a shirt/leotard and athletic shorts/leggings, no bare midriffs, hair pulled out of the face, bare feet, no jewelry, and clothing free of zippers, snaps, skirts, and hoods
- Water bottles with a secure top (no straws) allowed
- Staff members do not spot skills during Open Gym
- Electronic devices are prohibited from the gym unless permission is given for personal skill recording
